That permanent rowdy "swoosh" is entertaining pony and rider makes Delilah finally nosey enough to dig up the source - and she finds that her riding meadow is much closer to the river than assumed. The passable path down to the welcoming flat bank, is reason enough to start some ride also there. Of course decent carefully, because the main of river conveys some certain impression of "no return".
